Q’s final book signing of ‘08 today
Quincy’s final book signing of 2008 in support of his acclaimed new coffee table book, The Complete Quincy Jones: My Journey & Passions , takes place tonight (December 17) at 7 p.m. at Book Passage in Corte Madera, California, just north of San Francisco. You can find more information here.
While in the Bay Area, Quincy is set to make an appearance on the Gil Gross show on KGO-AM 810 at 3 p.m. PT. For those that don’t live in the area, the show is available for streaming on the web here.
Last night (December 16), Quincy was featured on ABC’s Nightline. During the segment, Quincy revealed his playlist with tracks by such legends as Ray Charles, Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra, Aretha Franklin and James Ingram & Patti Austin, and provided insightful and sometimes humorous commentary on each song. I would love to purchase a copy of ” The Complete Quincy Jones ” However, is it possible to get an autographed copy? I am from Florida . Will he be doing a book tour in this state?
