Words From Quincy
“I am absolutely devastated at this tragic and unexpected news. For Michael to be taken away from us so suddenly at such a young age, I just don’t have the words. Divinity brought our souls together on The Wiz and allowed us to do what we were able to throughout the 80’s. To this day, the music we created together on “Off The Wall,” “Thriller” and “Bad” is played in every corner of the world and the reason for that is because he had it all…talent, grace, professionalism and dedication. He was the consummate entertainer and his contributions and legacy will be felt upon the world forever. I’ve lost my little brother today, and part of my soul has gone with him.”
The music that you and Michael created in those albums will live forever. For one day surely, the media can leave the dirt behind and truly honor a man who influenced so many lives. We thank you Mr. Jones for bringing us such wonderful music. While man is not mortal, music is immortal and will continue to influence many lives today and those to come. I thought of you this morning when i heard the news and I was truly touched by your beautiful words. From your number one fan in Australia…
Chris Brumby
Dear Quincy,

Good luck.

Sadness has taken over all over London.

The man dead, born the legend.
The most incredible musician in the history.
Saludos desde España.
Thanks Quincy, thanks for the music you made together, and that’s for the words…. He will be sorely missed.
meant to say “thanks” for the words
Thank you Quincy for these words! Your and Michaels music is played in our home very frequently! Yesturday we drove home from grocery shopping and “Don’t stop ’til you get enough!” was blasting in our soundsystem in the car. Little did we know Michael had died… so sad! Thanks for all your work and music!
Regards, Bente (Stockholm, Sweden)
Thank you both for that magic. It will last forever.
I’m stunned. Sincerest condolences from Detroit. Michael will continue to live on in our hearts, cd players, iPods, and dvds. Our hearts go out to you and the family. Love you MJ! :}
Thank you for leaving us a great catalogue of true genuine popclassic. Your collaboration with Michael stands the test of time like no other popwork made in the history of music. May Michael rest in peace now.
I’m so sorry for those of you who knew him. I’m just a person who feels as if part of her youth was pulled out of her soul yesterday. An emptyness.
I am from Brazil and what I can say is that we lost the King, the best Pop Star ever … thanks Michael for the join you brought to our life. Thanks Quincy !
Hey Quincy.
Fan of MJ from Norway here, mourning the loss.
Already questions are being raised on several forums, about what will happen to Michaels recent work in the studio.
Would you care to finish his work and give us our last Michael Jackson album?
The number one wish we still had when he was allive, was that you would start working with him again. You helped him becoming history with Off the wall, Thriller and Bad. Would you please give your caring and talent to Michael’s new, and currently unreleased work?
I would like nothing more than to the worlds greatest producer (you) to get his last work released, as Michael intended to.
My heart breaks…I’m at a loss for words.
As we all know, Michael was preparing for his final farewell which, unfortunately, he will never have a chance to give. However, is there a way that a proper, loving tribute be given to him, similar to George Harrison’s “Concert for George”? Friends and family getting together to perform his music and celebrate his life, dancing, and music…he surely deserves it.
everyone is missing him
Condolences to the family, children, friends, and associates whom knew, worked, and enjoyed sharing the gifts of talent given Michael, with and for the World, one and all.
We all know how much Michael was a part of your life. Our family has you in our prayers Q.
sir. Michael deletes darkness in the world, and it is the saint whom it lighted in a pop. It is a vehicle of Michael whom a clean crescent moon floated in the sky in an evening today.
Tears Tears Tears
you so right, Q.
a part of our souls have gone wiht Michael today.
Unbelievable,
so short before his long awaited
comeback!!!
But he was so tired for so many years now…
Quincy,
Imagine…We Are The World…would you consider inviting the artists back to create a new moment of awakened consciousness? Is there an artist who can sing Michael’s part at his funeral? Someone who could share a little of what he/she is good at doing and let others join in our harmonious world?
Peace and love,
Leigh Juska
Dearest Quincy:
Your words on Michael’s passing touched me in a way I really can’t explain, but just had to tell you…it happened. I am a musician who used to perform early in my life, but my utmost respect to the artists who create and dream music that keeps my heart light and focused.
May God Bless You and thank you for your assistance and guidance to our Michael.
Be Blessed and Be A Blessing….
I can’t remember a time when I didn’t know who Michael Jackson was. I think I may have even known his first and last name before I even knew my own last name. But there he was, this man whom I would never know personally but somehow know everything about. Everything I could take away from articles, tv interviews, photographs, a couple of movies, a few commercials, and just about any other form of media flashing his face or name.
The obsession started small then began to grow each year until about 12 yrs. of age. Throughout childhood, I was able to cultivate the obsession. Watch it grow and form into something else. But what was it about him that captivated me at such a young age? Was it his fresh, original music? His rapid fire flat-footed dance moves? His sequined jackets and jazz style loafers? Or maybe his painfully shy demeanor that consumed him when thrusted under blaring lights at award shows or television interviews? Honestly, I don’t know if it was just one thing or all the things mentioned above. It just was an obsession. But one that wasn’t going to go away any time soon.
At the age of 5, I discovered that I could draw pictures of people. Decipherable people. Not just ovals and misplaced facial features So, I sat down at the wooden handmade coffee table in the middle of my living room, my hands full with a stack of 8 by 11 sheets of white paper and markers and began to draw people. People in my family emerged first, then came the household animals and then finally Michael Jackson. There he was, in a black leather jacket, white shirt, black leather pants, black boots, and black curly shoulder length hair. The standing order of people in the picture went, mom, papa, brother, brother, dog, cat, me and then Michael Jackson. But it didn’t end there. The drawings continued and so did the fanaticism.
One day, my father knowing that his kindergarten aged daughter fixated on this ridiculously famous man known as Michael Jackson, decided to humor me and tear off the front of the tv guide with a picture of Michael plastered on it and hand it to me. I snatched the picture out my father’s hands and ran into the bedroom with it. I jumped onto my bed, rested my head against the pillow, held the photo in front of me and stared at it for a few hours. Probably not a very healthy thing for a 5 yr. old girl. That picture became the most important possession I owned. That picture found its way under my pillow where it was gently placed each night before bedtime. Then promptly removed and pocketed as soon as the next day’s outfit was thrown on. Wherever I went the tv guide photo of Michael Jackson was sure to go. Whether it was riding my bike, sitting down for meals, outings with my family-it was sure to be with me. That photo was the only thing that generated consistent excitement in my little girl brain. But unfortunately, my little girl brain didn’t inform me that other kids didn’t feel the same enthusiasm about Michael Jackson as I did. I just assumed everyone held Michael Jackson in the same esteem as I did. But that was a lesson I was quickly going to find out.
One evening, I jumped on my green huffy bike and rode it up the street to where my older brothers and their so-called neighborhood friends were. There they were, a group of elementary school boys, just hanging out on the corner on the street with their bikes. I jumped off my bike ran towards them, stopped short, threw my hand into the pocket containing Michael’s photo and with a large smile on my face shoved the photo into one of the boy’s faces. I looked at him, waiting for his face to transform into what mine looked like in front of him. But instead, he looked at me with a smirk and then at the photo. Rolled his eyes, snatched the photo out of my hands and ripped it in several pieces. In unison, the boys, including my brothers, all started to laugh and proceed to jump on their bikes and ride off into the setting sun, leaving me staring at a the ground that was now freshly littered with torn pieces of what was once Michael Jackson’s face. Shock kicked in first then gave way to anger and finally grief. I balled up my fists as hot wet tears poured down my face, stomped on the ground a couple of times, then collected the shreds of what was my photograph, jumped on my bike and rode home. Initially, my thoughts were consumed with revenge and then wearily they gave way to resignation. I begin going over in my mind on how I was going to find the same photograph to replace the destroyed one. However, no photograph was found and in place of that consistent glee I grew familiar with, there was an omnipresent void. But still devoted, I kept up with the obsession of Michael Jackson.
As the years went on, I continued to fixate on this man known as Michael Jackson. I watched all his music videos. Entered all known contests to win tickets to his concerts-which I never won. Studied his staccato gestures. I even defended his decision to continuously change his appearance, amidst the onslaught of public ridicule and scorn. I stuck with him through his legal battles, music slumps, and controversial parenting skills. I felt I had to. And even until this day, whenever I see him he can still jumpstart a little excitement in me and that’s when I realize that the childhood obsession is still there, definitely not as strong as before, but still alive and well.
I know that as much as Michael’s fans all over the world are grieving his death, it cannot equal the grief you and Michael’s family feel. Just be thankful that you had the honor and privilege to have worked with him. You saw the talent and was instrumental in making him the icon he will be forever.
We lost.
Hi Q, Me too devastated at this tragic news, I’m chilean and i from here send you a message of condolence. His death is a great loss for us, your fun’s.
Alvaro, chile
Quincy, I think the people would love to hear more from you about Michael. Can you reach out to them, and share all the many memories I’m sure you have? Patty Austin is on CNN now…
Mr. Jones,
A knowledgeable person here in Detroit told me that along with the sadness of losing Michael is the “the loss of the music we hadn’t heard yet. I had great expectations for him in his comeback. If you can get a lead on his new stuff, that’s the story. It was going to be a hell of a show.”
Mr. Jones, do you have any idea what Michael working on? The genre, the style, etc.?
Thank you.
Amen Quincy. You’re a classy man with classy words about an iconic American Musical Artist. I envy your career and I admire your respect for Michael.
- Brian Atene
Thank you Quincy, a fitting tribute from a man who truly understood what it was like to work with and see great talent shine bright.
“If you enter this world knowing you are loved and you leave this world knowing the same, then everything that happens in between can be dealt with.”
(Michael Jackson)
Dear Mr Jones,
You made such winderful, wonderful music with Michael and I thank you for that. I’m so very sad at Michael’s death. I can’t imagine how deep your loss is at this time and I wanted you to know that, for some reason.
With sincerest condolences.
Ruth Jones.
…Michael’s music and your music will stay with us forever.
Rest in peace Michael.
Thank you Quincy.
(Paolo, from Italy)
My condolences to you and the Jackson family. The world has lost a father, brother, uncle and a generously human being who gave inspiration to all from his talent. Will miss him dearly.
I wrote a kind of a song to record by Mr Jones or Lionel Richie. It may not be a song or poem becuse am not a writer or poet but an idea on Micheal Jackson. As follows:
“You were the light of dreams of many many many more…The light was given to you and you provided the same to many many mre around the world. You provided inspiration, happiness and joyfulness to many many. You were the light to many many many and your children around the world will remember you as the one andonly. will be missed by your generosity of your nature that will never be taken away from you Micheal Jackson.” by Pankaj Raja.
WITH MICHAEL BEING SO LOVED INTERNATIONALLY (RACE,RELIGION,LOCATION) DIDN’T MATTER. I’D LOVE TO SEE SOMEONE TAKE NEVERLAND RANCH & SET IT UP AS A TRIBUTE TO ALL OF THE POSITIVE, HISTORICAL MUSIC GENIUS THAT MICHAEL WAS & BROUGHT TO US TO KEEP THAT ALIVE FOR HIS CHILDREN TO BENEFIT FROM. I’D LOVE TO SEE SOMEONE LIKE QUINCY TO LEAD THIS EFFORT FOR MICHAEL’S CHILDREN TO BENEFIT FROM IT; NOT HIS DEBTORS! TO SET IT UP AS A TRIBUTE TO MICHAEL; THE FANS WOULD COME!!! NOW’S THE TIME FOR POSITIVE ONLY TO ‘CELEBRATE’ HIS LIFE & CONTRIBUTION TO THE WORLD! HE DIED WAY TOO YOUNG (MY AGE) & WAY TOO SOON-HE HAS ALWAYS BEEN SUCH AN IMPORTANT PART OF MY LIFE:YOUNG TILL NOW!DKD
Unbeliavable!!! Michael died….
Great words, Michael really was the number 1. He never will die, will live forever into ours hearts specially to the people that lived on 80´s
Each person must look inside of himself and remember all images and shows that MJ gave us. Your die has gone a piece of each us.
From Brazil
Thank you ….
Mr. Jones, you have been such a significant figure in Michael’s life, is it a way that Janet and his brothers and a tremendous list of other artist would pull together and pay off his debts. It hurts me so bad to hear the media trashing his name about this. Michael had such a kind heart and he would have done what I am asking for any one in a heart beat. Please, honor him with the love that he give to so many. He had great pride and this tour he wanted to show all that he pays his bills and is indeed an honest, upright person that feared the GOD. Please pass this message to his family, please.
please, do the show that he had planned. Talk to the people at AEG to negotiate with Janet and his brothers to still do the 50 soldout shows in his honor.
Just hang on Quincy, the world undestand your pain but MJ never want to see you sad.
Moonwalking On Heaven.
Eloquently stated, as always, Mr. Jones. Thank you and Michael for making beautiful music together, that will live on forever. Peace.
Dear Quincy
We are all devastated by this news. Michael and your work throughout the years in nothing short of sensational.
I had a video disco throughout the late eightees and will never forget the great tunes that both of you produced.
The death of Michael is tragic and I think that your kind words are such a tribute to an unbeatable star, entertainer and icon.
The World mourns the passing of a superstar. . .
Dear Mr. Jones – Thank you also for your work, and for your obvious love and caring for Michael Jackson.
- I don’t know if you were working with Michael on his upcoming “This is it” Tour, but I thought I would pass along this idea to you, and you could share it with those who are in charge of the concert and ticket sales. – It occured to me that people could keep their tickets (I’m sure most people will want to anyway), and the money that has gone into the preperation for the concert, or that would be going into the concert, could possibly be used for something wonderful, like helping others. Perhaps a cause that was close to Michael’s heart. I think he would have liked that idea. – I hope you don’t mind me sharing this idea with you, it could be someone else has probably already thought of it too.
I also hope that the music that Michael had planned to sing in the concert,(that he had hopefully already recorded it, or some of it), will be put into an album for all of us to purchase.
Thank you Mr. Jones for taking the time to read this during such a trying time. My prayers are with you, and of course The Jackson family. Thank you again, Sincerely, Monica
Dear Quincy.
First of all my condolences about Smelly.
This is my first time I’m writing and I regret i didn’t do it before.
I always was curious to know who was behind that sound that shook my childhood from the first time i heard it through Smelly’s voice in 87.
I was born in Albania, witch Was a Communist country, and God knows how many times i have been beaten by the police there, when they’ll catch me switching the my little radio channels to hear American music. You were not supposed to hear anything other than Albanian.
But that sound that you Created made me sacrifice and escape Albania And came in NY in 2001.
The first thing i saw behind the glass of a library was your Autobiography book.
I read it and And was like living the history of music. Also we had a very similar life
but in different places, Is funny i used to eat Frogs when i was little, and reminds me the story when you were talking about the Rats when you were little in your book.
I didn’t write than because your music was in a higher level that I thought I wasn’t ready to write you yet.
Because we want the best or nothing right!
But when i realize how unpredictable life can be
I though I need to talk to you in this lifetime
The music you and MIchael created is the symbol.
Please If you tell me to come and meet you It’ll be the dream of my life.
We need to make a song or an album in the name of this performer that saved my soul In the times when i needed it.
my condolences go also to your brother Lloyd , that you loved so much.
God bless

Hello Mr. Jones, I’m writing from Chile and I grew up with his music, I have very pretty memories, specially with the Thriller album. It is a masterpiece. Everybody thought that we would have him forever with us, due the modern medicine, but it wasn’t the case. He was another human being on the earth, although we had him as a god. At the end he was a very lonely person; that was the load he had to carry. Now he’s in heaven and finally has the peace every one of us deserves. RIP M.J…
Sorry por no escribir en inglés, thanks Quincy por tu música también, tu y Michael nos regalaron fantasias y sueños, pero aún nos queda la tuya, es la human nature…
Sharing your pain Q. Lets be grateful that his music will live on forever and he was blessed with a gift that he could give each and everyone of us something to relate to in his music. Thinking of you in this difficult time.
I am really sorry ,what happen to Michael . I wish people and media should have helped him, when he was alive . What they are doing now . One should appreciated when they are still there otherwise this whole gesture appears fake . When I heard this bad news . I felt internal sadness . I wish everyone should remember him as great singer . As everyone want to be remembered . Live him alone for the cause of death . Keep on putting durst on him . May God rest his soul in Peace.
Like Jesus Christ, Michael was adored first and then demonised and crucified here on earth. He’s now in Eternity, resurrected. May he live forever. Amen
Quincy,
My deepest sympathy goes out to you, as well as his children and family. It’s so sad when we’re now looking back on his life and seeing what an amazing person he was. Just as Jesus had to endure so much while on this earth, so did Michael. And now, there’s word of Michael’s bankrupt estate. There’s got to be something we can do.
Quincy, if you’re reading this, I think there is something you can do and I think the world will support you on. I believe you need to produce a dvd compilation of Michael’s music and life! And the profits need to go to Michael’s estate and his children. There are already many people trying to take advantage of Michael even after his death, and I would like to see something good come from this.
I know this is a LONG shot. I’m absolutely no one and certainly no one Michael knew. But when I heard Michael say to listen to his music, “Childhood,” something touched me and told me to reach out to you, Quincy. I truly hope you can do something and act quickly. We owe it to Michael, who was, perhaps, God’s greatest talent on earth.
Mr. Jones
I just saw your interview with Brian Williams. Sir, you were 26 years old when Michael Jackson was born. “Little Brother” my ass. You see a fellow artist who is young enough to be your son destroy himself and you sit by and say “it is none of my business”? If you thought he was a victim, you had an obligation to save him. God help you!!
Quincy,
While many of us didn’t have the privilege of knowing Michael personally we loved him just the same. My heart goes out to his children and family during this tragic time. We have truly lost a legend, of which we will never see again. I keep hearing about the amount of money that will need to be refunded for the concerts he was scheduled to start but one suggestion that fans might really go to is a Tribute to Michael. While he will not personally be there I wonder if it is possible to get some of the greats together to sing his songs and perform in his place. I know that might be an impossible task to accomplish I know I would love to go see artists, musicians, and performers performing his music in his honor. Stars like Justin Timberlake, Smokey Robinson, Alicia Keys, Will i am and the Black Eyed Peas…anyone willing to honor him. RIP Michael you are so missed.
Quincy, “We are the World”…although it is too soon to think about, how about a tribute concert in London where Michael was going to kick off his tour that benefits the children in need of the world… Although I am just one person let me know if I can assist in any way if you think this would honor him appropriately.
He will be missed and maybe his passing can help benefit the children of the world for decades to come.
Thanks for coming on Larry King Live! Unfortunately, there was not enough time!!! You’ve gotta hook up with Oprah or someone this week. No one knows the music story better than you! Share all you can.
My wife’s from Seattle. You might know her father Will DeCure. I visited there last summer. Went to Lake Chilan and caught some huge trout/samon.
Let the comments show on your main page. I know you must be getting some major hits on your website. I’ve been pushing a few!
I can’t imagine Michael Jackson beiing buried anywhere but Neverland. Could his friends band together and buy the ranch for Michael and his children? His public and those yet to be born will pay off his debt and also be able to give back to the investors. Your attention to this matter will be greatly appreciated.
Regards,
Susan Williamson
Springfield, Missouri
Lead a concert with everyone who’s everyone who’s ever performed with Michael. They will follow you there!
6 to 10 location around the world. LA, NY, London, Paris, Cape Town, Berlin, Tokyo, Manila/Bankok (at the biggest stadiums in each country). Use proceeds to pay off his debt and create a memorial at the old ranch. Top row -> $100. First row -> $5,000. Everybody can experience it!
Call Oprah! She will take your call and put you on… Monday!
You all were like the Muhammed Ali and Howard Cosell of music! You both used each other’s talents to catapult into the stratosphere!
…you can take this comment off – I’m sorry, I realy didn’t expect it to show up – but I did want to write and send my thanks and condolence.
thank you again most sincerely -
Quincy,
I am a nobody, but if there is anyone who can do this request it is you. MJ was planning a concert for us. May I suggest a world wide concert for him. One date, one time, one song “We Are The World”. Just as we do on New Years Eve. Brodcast around the world. Many of us would have loved to see him in London, now the whole world can attend.
Quincy, You and Michel makes the music always alive. The world lose a great artist and producer.
Dear Quincy,
Thoughts are with his children, family and with you. You’ve made each other shine even more then you both already did.
hi,
i’m writing from rome, italy.
i growned up with Quincy Jones music and i follwed his career as producer. When i heard for first time “thriller” i tought was THE masterpiece in pop music. was perfect. Music, soul, mind, personnel, project, spirit. I thank to Michael Jackson beacause his music message was clean. All the bad stuff media throw on him in this last decade (about child abusing etc) was beacause media needs always someone to build, or to destroy.
They have a great responsability on his artistic decline. bigger then others.
anyway, in “beat it” there’s the greatest solo guitar of pop history. Thanks, Quincy. Thanks Michael.
Maestro, I share your pain and frustration. How I wished for Michael’s planned “comeback” to be a success! Yet another shining star who left us too early. The music you made together has left an indelible imprint on my life, and inspired me to become a musician! I thank you for the joy that you and MJ brought to me, and to millions of souls around the globe. Bravo!
The grief is mutual and global. Billions of souls have experienced the power of symbiotic passion that was given through divinity – culturally memorised worldwide. So true , so right, spiritual endorsed by beat, groove and harmony.
A milestone legacy.
Wishing you strength with deep respect for your work, wisdom and lovely visions.
With love & peace rom Toots’ country
Michael was the best of the best of the artists in the world. There will remain the king of pop worldwide. Nobody will forget this marvellous artist. That God blesses her soul and that he rests in peace. We love you Michael for the erternity.
sorry for the pain your heart feels now..oxoxoooo
after some time has passed.. is it possible that you or someone can put together a set of Michaels videos and music? the cable stations all showing the videos and I would for sure buy a box set of all VIDEOS & MUSIC! just a thought
Mr. Jones,
I really enjoyed your commentary concerning the death of Michael. It is not the journalists that I seek for the real person, but rather, people like you who had so much interaction with this man of such talent.
Music is a universal language & what these news shows say or do is irrelevant because in the end it is the artist & the individual that bonds.
Time destroys us but it heals us as well.
Wish you well.
Dear Mr. Quincy Jones,
Yes, he had it all. Thanks to you and Michael Jackson for the great music you made together. We are thankful.
Carsten Grønbech, Copenhagen.
Dear Quincy
It is indeed very sad and a great shock.
Thank you and Michael for what you did for all of us – great Music that will always be remembered – so will be Michael.
Adrian
Hi Quincy,
First, I’m so glad I found your site and wanted to write something here. Hope you have a chance to read my post.
Losing Michael Jackson is hard to digest. Your post was great abotu Michael. Words just can’t describe what has happen. Why does this happen. Its a part of life, thats hard to understand. I wished he had been able to live out his life and do many more things. I wish he could be around to tell us his stories from time to time. Sadly, no more. I know his music will live on. No question about it..
What I think needs to happen and maybe you can put this into motion. I think its something that can be dedicated to Michael. A very special event.
We should have for one week during the summer, where all bands join together across the globe and unite together. Every band would play there music in various country, be it the US or internationally.. When I thought of this idea, I was listening to the soundtrack from Epcot at Disney World. Its called Illumination. I thought of this opening piece as the opening to this great event. Then the bands, one by one would be begin to play their music. I’m not sure they would play all day, but certain times during the day.
This event could be called something like, Unite the World as One.
The event would be one where all entertainers would come together and jam away. Have millions of people watch this event. I think nows the time, that everyone in the music industry dedicate this to Michael.
It would be an event that would occur once a year. I know Live Aid was something very special. So, why not make this possible. I think we owe it to Michael and remember what he did for this industry. I think every entertainer in the music industry should give this serious thought.
I hope you can look into this. Somehow, I believe this event would make a huge impact to the world, but have all the entertainers reflect and look to the future, but make sure everyone is doing okay.
Anyway, thats all I wanted to say here. I wanted to also say that your music is terrific and the one album that is so special to me is Walking in Space..No doubt this music gets me through the tough times and yes the fears I face in life. You know Michael said something that the great ones always say, never give up. So true. Man, I miss him so much. Somehow, I now Michael will look down to see how many folks love him. Now, all of us have to remember the great times, thats what will get us through this tough time. Remember the great memories…
Take care Quincy..
Take care, be well, and stay healthy…
Dear Sir, dear Quincy Jones,
maybe that message will arrive you. That would be great because I do have a great wish.
I´m Michael Schlichting – Jahnstr. 31- 53225 Bonn, germany.
I am not a real fan concerning Michael but I do love incredible music, I do love sensational beats and performances. I saw him once in Munich, long time ago.
He was the one.
I know that you produced several incredible songs with Michael.
My wish?
You`re interested at all?
I just started the ebay auction

Ia ora na Quincy, I can still remember in 1985 when you were with us on Huahine and telling us how Michael was an angel, he was your baby. Bobby will be there at the gates of heaven to welcome him. and what I really wanted to say is “come home Quincy to your islands and heal your tears in the blue lagoons , it has been over 20 years. all love to you Dorothy

Dear Quincy,
I am feeling with you. Althoug M.J. came a bit after my youth time I feel sad about his end of live.
But the reason for this mail ist different. In all obituaries M.J. is the main object and thats okay. But actually I have never heard a word about you. And I know, that the success of M.J. is mainly your work. This should be more worked out in the media world
I personally thank you very very much for your great work within the sybiosis Quincy Jones/Michael Jackson

Thank you Quincy for bringing such a dedicated artist to the air waves. May God rest his soul and people never forget the efforts of Michael Jackson. I send my best wishes to the Jackson family and all of their friends.
Thank you Michael for the music and the great moonwalk that I still try to do today..Let his music live on forever which in no doubt it will.
I hope for one day my music may have a similar effect..
Rest in Peace Michael..
Leigh Brincat
Greatness is having all of your music played on the radio/Music Video TV, all day and not receiving one complaint. Instead the calls are requesting more.
Greatness is being able to stand on stage for several minutes without playing a single note or saying a single word, turning your head to the left-and bringing the house DOWN!
Thank you Jackson Family and thank you Quincy. I think a part of all our souls have gone with him, including mine.
FOR THE DIRECT ATTENTION OF : Mr Quincy Jones.
Dear Mr Jones,
This tragedy has cut into millions of hearts and souls around the world.
I have an idea to pay a first “global” tribute to Michael in recognition of the good he brought to so many lives.
Would it not be appropriate for you to produce a record sung by star vocal representatives from each country around the world. Each country selects their artist and you produce the record of them all (in a sort of collective “Live Aid” style).
Song(s) would sing about issues Michael would have adhered to. The collective approach would also send a message, and be an example of the potential of world peace.
Proceeds could go to a charity Michael would have appreciated, perhaps one that helps dying children across the globe?
I remain (discretely) at your disposal to share your opinion on my idea.
With warmest regards and utmost respect,
Christophe Evans

Please encourage Epic/Sony to produce a DVD collection of all of Michael Jackson’s music video’s. That will be such a blessing to own and have and watch while cuddled up on my couch any day I can, and something to cherish for a lifetime. Thank you in advance.

Message Title: God Is With You My Brother
As a woman of God with a good spirit, you too Michael have always had a good spirit. Why are negative, evil, cold blooded, envious people of this world and of this country that way toward people with good spirits? Nevertheless, you are at complete peace now my brother. You were always in my prayers and still are. Your spirit and goodness resonated throughout the world and throughout this God-forsaken country; you touched and inspired the lives of millions. Millions of people sold out your most recent world concert tour dates/locations that was to start in London next; and millions of people still love and uplift you as the king of pop and rock-n-roll; that which you will always remain. I encourage the President to host a commemorative tribute concert on your behalf at the white house, and donate the funds to your favorite charity or to what your parents Joseph and Catherine deem best. And Epic/Sony to produce and release a DVD of your music video’s.
I remember when my two sisters and I were little and my parents brought home your new ‘Thriller’ album from the loop (downtown); and I was more excited than they. We played it over and over. My mother even kissed the album cover on your forehead and said ‘God bless this precious one-of-a-kind man of God’. The lipstick mark is still there.
And yes, we wore the Michael Jackson ‘Beat It’ jackets.
When your next album came out, as our mother was in college, she’d perform each semester in the performing arts showcase conducted by some of the professor’s. She had my sisters and I on stage singing back-up. This particular semester she sang ‘The Man In The Mirror’ (one of your most touching most emotional songs and video’s); and I remember singing out (quite loud) on the mic “that man. that mane, that man, that mane, that mane, whooh, whooh!!!”. As always, we got a standing ovation.
I bought The Jackson 5 four-disc collection with picture and facts story booklet when I was in college; and also have 5 of your other albums over the years. I had my little nephew and two 2 nieces (one of many times) one month last fall; October actually, and was playing one of your albums. They asked ‘who is that’. I said, ‘Michael Jackson. You guys never heard of Michael Jackson?!?!?’. Their mother (my sister) surprisingly never taught them about you. I did. And later that night I turned off all of the lights, candles and night-lights; I put the record on, turned up my stereo real loud with extra base, grabbed a flashlight and put it under my chin as my microphone and acted out the entire song ‘Thriller’. My youngest niece laughed the entire time, and my other niece and nephew screamed. They had so much fun that my nephew then wanted to have a turn to grab the flashlight and act the song out for us. Then I told them about when I was a Brownie before becoming a Girl Scout, and we went camping, and skipped around the log cabin to the famous Wanna Be Startin’ Somethin’ – ‘mama say mama sah tu mah tu sah’. So we did it around my house. LOL.
I remember in college I’d have Michael Jackson music mood days. I was an R.A of two upper classman floors and opened my door, played my stereo loud through 2 or 3 of your albums. Students would stop in the room and we’d reminisce about some of your video’s and enjoy my albums (cd’s).
My mother reminded me yesterday (6-25-09) before she sang the song to me; of one of the times her and our dad saw you perform live; and when you and your talented brothers performed in a talent show at the Regal Theatre, you lead The Jackson 5 in a song called ‘Steal Away’; you guys won that talent show of course, as well as many others. They also saw The Jackson 5 perform in a lounge. You were just a little boy, with humungous talents.
I could go on and on.
LOVE
As sad and tragic as it is Quincy, he left the world wanting more instead of just burning out, and because of this his memory will live on as strong as Elvis. Special people that influence the world always go out that way, it’s just the way the universe (or God or whatever it is) does things. You were a major part in propelling Michael’s talents to those heights Quincy, my thoughts are with you too mate. All the best.
We miss U MJ
How many victims must there be
Slaughtered in vain across the land
And how many struggles must there be
Before we choose to live the prophet’s plan
Everybody sing…
Every day create your history
Every path you take you’re leaving your legacy
Every soldier dies in his glory
Every legend tells of conquest and liberty
Quincy,
My heartfelt condolences go out to you and to Michael’s family. His passing is a loss to everyone who appreciates music. Thank you for helping him reach his potential as an artist. The work you have done together is unforgettable.
Phil

I’M SO SAD… MY HEART IS BLEEDING…
We lost the magic…we lost the best pop singer that exist in the world…The world will be different now a days…we’ll never forget him…
The best of the world
Sir Quincy,
Like the rest of the world, my family and I are very sad with this tragedy.
We live in Brazil and everybody here is devastaded too.
I´ve read about the friendship between you and Michael, and musics that you created together. For this reason, I would like to sugest that instead of returning all the tickets from Michael´s concerts, why don´t you and other of his closest singers friends transform those shows on a tribute to him, with half of the founds collected being used to quit his debts?
I think that fans will be gratefull. They could be asked what they think about it….
Michael deserves a tribute like this!
Quincy,
Can you PLEASE organize a fitting tribute to Michael Jackson? The 2009 BET awards that were supposed to be a tribute to Michael were a joke—at best. Please Quincy? You could put together a show with class and dignity that really does justice to Michael’s memory. I am not sure if you read these comments, but I hope someone will pass this message along to you. I know that I am not the only one who feels this way. Peace and Blessings,
Asia
You and Michael created magic and that magic will live on for years to come.
Michael Jackson was the gretest and always will be the King Of Pop my heart and condolences go out to the Jackson family and to the kids may he and Farrah Fawcett Rest In Peace.
I recommend reading “How to Go On Living When Someone You Love Dies” Teresa Rando PhD. A gift to anyone who is grief stricken. Thank you for the gifts you have shared with us and I wish you peace and love.

Dear Mr. Jones,

We think of you and him…
RIP
Dear Mr. Jones..just wanted to express my profound sorrow for the loss of one of the greatest musical gifts our world has ever known..such a sad loss for his millions of fans, like me, and especially for those who knew and loved him, like you. Thank you, for the unequaled music you made with Michael..the two of you were a magic combination, and I will treasure the badass music you created. It makes my soul soar to hear it! I have sung for a living since I was 17, and at my gig last night I sang “I Want You Back”, “ABC”, “I’ll Be There”, “Billie Jean” and “Beat It” and would’ve done more if my band could’ve played them. I’ve never felt such sorrow over the loss of a celebrity. I know in my heart that Michael is now at peace. Praise God for giving such a gift to us all! He was Halley’s Comet in my lifetime..sending you love and gratitude..
Respectfully, Leslie Craig
Dear Father of Michael Jackson,
I am very devastated by Michael’s news too…
My first LP album I ever got was Michael’s Thriller. He and you are the one who opened my door to music.
I was so looking forward for his concert in London.
There will never be a chance to experience his magic…
Maybe not…
TRIBUTE PROPOSAL: Instead of cancelling all the scheduled concerts and returning the ticket money why not gather Michael’s special musician friends and sing his song in front of his true fans to tribute? This will be a memorable historical nights for all his family, friends and fans.
I really miss him and i believe i speak for all his fans.
I didnt know who to share this idea and thought only person who can make this happen is you.
With great respect,
Kant/London
Mr. Jones, I am so sorry for this loss, and I hope I am not out of line in the following suggestion;I wonder if there is any way you can make another “we are the world” for USA for Africa, or any other charity in his memory?
michael jackson will be so missed his music is the soundtrack to my life
The songs from these 3 albums are the ones i’ve been hearing all weekend, watching people from 3 generations grooving to them, singing to them, loving them…Quincy & Michael were a music production powerhouse extraordinare…RIP MJ, we’re gonna miss u so bad, but we’re also gonna be dancing to your hooks 4ever, you’ll never be forgotten, you are a true LEGEND
Wonderful words… thank you Quincy.
Quincy Jones, I just love you. I so appreciate your contributions to the world Of music, culture & humanity. I also appreciate the strength you showed by expressing your feelings for Michael so soon after his death. I was just wondering. Micahel loved Neverland so much. I do believe that this place really gave him purpose in entertaining & helping children. Plus his favorite tree is there. God willing it shall become the Michael Jackson shrine. Do you think it’s possible to gather all who ever actually worked with Michael at the ranch (or somewhere else if legalities prohibit) to do a fundraiser to save Neverland ? I would also be glad to help in anyway. You would know who best to gather to organize it. And I think it would be nice to do one w/out fans, then one w/fans. This way the ice can be broken btwn those who never stopped believing in Michael & those who sucked up to media exploitation, lies & sensationalism. People really need to face the music and cop to their hypocracy. It’s such a shame that many did not take the time to really listen to Michael, look beyond the eyeliner into his eyes and take the time to follow the case if they dared doubt his genuine love for children.
I’m sorry to say that I didn’t think he would live a long life soon after the trial. The cruely of others hurt him more than any of us shall ever know. Noone can trip on him any longer. I love him so much & hope more light is shed on his compassionate humanitarian spirit. Thank you for being there for him with unconditional love.

gee, I spelled my own name wrong; it’s E.OLNEY (not Oleny). I feel broken-hearted and have ached for Michael for a long time now yet, a little better doing what I can in his honor. I hope you read my comments – - – - – - -
Dear Q,It’s been a long time since we’ve last seen each other. I can’t help but remember the weekend we all (V.H. and Sammi) spent at MJ’s in Neverland back in 1989. I brought out the pics of which I haven’t seen in years. It was an amazing weekend of which I’ll never forget. Michael taught me one of the biggest lessons of my life during that weekend – don’t judge those who you do not know. I pray peace to you during this difficult time. There’s a huge loss in the music industry. My heart goes out to you. If you’d like to have copies of the photos of that weekend, I’d love to get some to you. Love to you Q!
Mr. Q,
The people from Brazil are shocked with the death of one of the latest living legends of this entire world.

I all I have to say is that we thank you for all the extraordinary job you’ve done since the begining.
May God bless you Mr. Q and Michael , and be sure that we will never forget what you both have’ve done for all of us citizens of the planet earth.

My respect and condolence goes out to you, for you were the love support, courage behind this wonderful man that touched so many of us in different ways, Michael was my inspiration through my childhood to now, his concert when he came to Australia was one of the most memorable days of my childhood, and of my families, my family is truly upset and feel we have lost a true star, who will be sincerely missed however always remembered as a true King, Gentle Man who had a heart of Gold.
You helped create this wonderful man and showed the world how truly great Michael was in his music as a person and as a friend. And for you we are grateful for that
Saint Michael Jackson will appear in the world for relief of the human again from heaven soon.

Dear Mr Jones,
It hurts.
So unreal..
Thank you so much for everything, for being part of my life with MJ. I know your name since I was 3, in 1984. He used to be my world when I was a kid and got into ballet.
And I´m so sorry.. this is so sad. Speechless. Gods mysterious ways, I guess..
With all my respect,
Kind Regards,

IN MEMORY:
From an early age on the Jackson 5 became an inspirational part of my life. ABC had a great hook line and I’ll Be There was just downright soul stirring. As their music continued to permeate the airwaves it began weaving an intricate thread into the blueprint of my own life as a recording artist.
Years later, the first time I heard Thriller, the hairs stood up on my arm as I felt shivers go through my entire body. At that moment, I knew what that album was and what it was destined to become.
I cannot think of a better performing artist that has ever stepped foot on this planet. Michael Jackson is without a doubt one of the greatest of the all time greats.
When I first heard of his untimely death, those same shivers returned. I was shocked to say the least as it was totally unexpected. One thing I do know is that his strong spirit
continues to live on.
For all of you fans, friends, and family out there who feel at loss of words or direction just remember what he expressed through his music “Where there is love… I’ll Be There” Now you know what to do. Send your “love and light”.
“Love and light” are your words Mr. Jones that you wrote to me during the signing of your book back in December of this year at Barnes & Noble in Santa Monica. In January, I gave it an excellent review on my website which is now placed under the updates archives. Currently, it is right here in my home where it belongs and where I intend it to be for the rest of my life. Any guests in my home are welcome to read this highly enlightening book at their leisure.God Bless you and my heartfelt condolences to all.
Mr. Jones ,
Sorry for the loss of Michael.
I hope time will heal a bit.
And thank you so verry mutch to inspire me to start Producing music.
All the best.

Beyonce’s Ava Maria at the BET Awards was beautiful. I hope she, Alicia Keyes, Siedah Garrett, Mariah Carey, Diana Ross & Maxwell get to sing at the funeral, and a CD is produced for the Jackson children’s trust fund if needed, now, or a month or so down the road.
This is a fan’s perspective & advice to the Jackson’s, although I’m sure Grandma already knows what to do. Bless you, Jackson Family.
Dear Janet, get busy, why don’tcha girlfriend. I wasn’t blessed to have children in my life. A bright future is over for me. But, I think Michael Jackson was planning his children’s success in life when he named them. Paris Michael Jackson contains the word princess & rise. Paris is an “international name.” Michael Jackson had friends of all ages across the globe. Lisa Marie is contained in that name too, because LM Presley was probably one of the last women who truly cared about him, and he wanted his children to reach out when they needed too, beyond his own family as they grew up to learn to deal with the pressures of the spotlight, because the Lord knows the press is going to hound those children the rest of their lives, because of who they are. Hopefully the children will be allowed – to concentrate enough to pass the bar exam in the spotlight of their future if law becomes their aim.
If the media could hound Paris Hilton into jail, and cause one of the Olson twins to be anorexic, let alone Brittney Spears turmoils, what deliberate stumbling blocks will they “Conjure (the only thing those kids need is love, guidance, and laptops with Microsoft Office Professional to keep their hearts occupied) UP” for these children in years to come, particularly when they discover what the Internet has contained good & bad on the family alone?
Upon further observation both sons are Prince’s. Mr. Quincy Jones is the greatest, but heaven forbid something happens to him in the years to come, before the children are at the age of career selection, and they choose music as their goal. What better guide is there than “Prince,” a business man, director, musician of several instruments, a producer / director of film & music, with a melodic vocal range who surrounded himself with women like Mavis Staples…similar to Mrs. Catherine Jackson in spirit. Prince cut through the red tape of happiness, and self contentment in the eye of the storm.
I hope one of Michael’ s brothers reads this, and plays some instrumental Quincy, or some Prince ballads, Barry White, Houdini, and Ojays for the kids and tells them about healthy competition, blocking out manufactured media competition / obsessions / ruthlessness, and that they discuss admiration, chance, luck, and planning. Because when it comes down to it, what better life is there than entertaining – singing in a church choir – or to the world where you can leave a legacy for your children so they can pursue any intellectual, or spiritual goal exploring Wikipedia, to http://www.poptricka.com / http://www.poptrica.com, to playing Monopoly, Dominoes, Jacks, and maybe the kids might just want to scream from the rooftop of the Waldorf Astoria “unveiled in harmony” listening to SADE, before their Mother Goose, or Dr. Seuss bedtime story!
“Michael” probably already told them enough to get by as a bonified parent, RIGHT! Now, it’s time to JAM a life’s work into a few hours for everyone that loved him, and wishes the best for the children.
From the Inside out Mr. Michael Jackson’s love of people across the world was exhibited in his giving. Maybe the family will have a DVD with proceeds going to Keep A Child Alive foundation for his final contribution to life.
A Forever Faithful Fan of all of your greatness!
Quincy,
Michael will be missed greatly; however, I attribute his super-stardom and innovation primarily due to your guidance and creativity. So, want to say, ‘thank you’ for your lifetime contributions to music.
I will miss him so much..thank you Quincy for all you’ve done with him.
Love you forever, Michael
The loss of this Musical Prince will be always a great shock, each time I think on that I feel him alive, through the songs he left for us, in special Thriller. Why dont you gather special friends and play for Jacko and Jacko’s fans? Please consider this! We want, absollutly, here in Brazil hear more, and we know that you can do, better than anyone! We’re sorry about you;re little bro. Maestro Marco Pontes.
Greetings to Mr.Quincy Jones ,
Brother , I have followed you since “Walking In Space’ ; who could ever forget your masterpiece version of
” What’s Going On ” its one of my top ten songs all time . With Freddie , Herbie , Toots , and those running strings !!
Your a true creative ,icon and musical genius ; everyone keeps talking about how talented Michael was and it’s all well deserved .
I’m here to tell the world that without your fantastic arrangements , and Rod Temperton , Michaels rise 1978 – 1987 to superstardom would have only been half as good .
Starting with ” Off The Wall”
“Rock With You ” and “Thriller” all written by Rod Temperton !
I would love to sit and talk with you and Rod for about one week straight !
On a closing
note about Michael Jackson ; I’m from Indiana ; and he has always been one of my favorite talents ; the finest dancer of the last 50 years !
He and Fred Astaire were in a class by themselves !
Its a shame that people don’t really think about how much abuse that Michael had to endure from his maniac father !
He always struggled with a self esteem problem ; and right around Thriller 1982 ; to the Bad Album 1987 ( 5 number 1 singles )no artist has ever done that . He was absolutely at the top of his career.
Michael was so handsome , and talented , and the two of you both perfectionists ; made some of the finest music of the twentieth century !
I really don’t think that the world really appreciates all that you have done musically Sir !
B.E.T. should have given you Quincy Jones much more praise fro helping to mold Michael Jackson into the greatest performer of the twentieth century !
I consider you the top producer of the twentieth century . I want to tell you this while you are still alive !
Michael Jackson thank you for all of this incredible music .
On a final note ; Michael Jackson may the Lord bless your soul ; and I hope that you now have the peace that you derserved !
Sincerely ,
Gary O’Connell
Mr. Quincy,
sometimes translating feelings into words is not possible. This incapacity leaves us even emptier and lonelier, not being able to transmit what we feel.
Usually music serves as our interpreter (one who doesn’t question us, or judge us, but blindly obbey us). But there are times so dark, so apocalyptic; not even the tiniest note can find it’s way out of our weary souls.
Saying I feel what you feel is a disrespectful lie. I don’t, I can’t…
I can say: let’s be grateful that Michael became a part of all of us, for a while.
sincerely yours
Dj Eduardo Bajdecki
Rest in peace Michael Jackson, the true King not only of the pop music, but the king of MUSIC, in it’s primitive meaning. The media ruined your life, but this world is not for good people like you. As the great spiritist Chico Xavier said one: “The more good we do in the world, more hard seems our job, more enemies and obstacles we find in our journey”

Quincy’s comments in Details Mag are beyond disgusting.
Quincy… my heart goes out to you. I am one of many dedicated MJ fans. I am grateful that you an Michael were such a team. Although no one will ever replace Michael his music and influence will live forever. Michael Jackson was so much more than an amazing artist, and dancer, but a person who I believe really cared about all of us. He will be dearly missed and never forgotten. I pray that you get through these challenging times. You have helped create some of the greatest music ever. I hope that you can continue to do wonderful things and be part of the MJ legacy. Thank you Quincy Jones!
I have watched the video We are the World over and over today. What a truly work of art and talent. After watching that and other MJ videos it leaves an emptiness knowing that he is gone. He has given so much love and help to the world and I feel like we have let him down. I just hope, somehow, someday Neverland can one day be his Graceland.
MJ thanks for the memories and the music. Quincy thanks for your talent of putting it all together. The world misses him.
Quincy, I would like to ask you something. Have you really said these things about Michael or is it fake or maybe partially fake?

Mr. Jones,
Please, please attend Michael’s funeral. I feel it might send the wrong message if you are not there.
Best regards

Quincy,
I want to thank you for ALL of Micheal’s artistry. I also want to thank you for another legend that worked with you that I love very much. Ella Fitzgerald. She had the star-quality, as he did, only in a different way.
Thank you for bringing them both to us.
Rene
Quincy,
Deepest sympathies to you, the Jackson family and his circle of true friends. The world is richer for him being here. As many are saying, Michael provided the soundtrack for my life and I can’t get over how stricken I am by someone who was essentially a stranger. God reached out his hand and not only made him a musical genius, but a visual master of movement.
Be free.
Plain and simple, you and MJ are amazing. Nobody will forget and the music will live on forever, without a doubt.

Dear Quincy Jones
My first contact as a teenager with Miles Davis 1985 in Montreux has changed my life forever and your concert with Miles in Montreux did that as well. I am just working (and of cours only privatly for fun, because I am not a criminal) on a remix of “Don’t Stop ’til You Get Enough”. I am just learning more and more from you and my admiration for you is climbing more and more. I took me a lot of hours to get to the groove, that you have created on that song. This groove is the whole secret of that song, played by outstanding musicians. And let me say this (in the meaning of Miles): This is black music. The groove behind that song is totally black! The whole production is an outstanding masterpiece. You are a genious and an outstanding human beeing. You are possibly the only living man on that planet with this knowledge, spanning several decades since the genesis of Jazz/Blues/Rock/Pop. YOU are the music of a century. YOU are the reason of Michael’s success, who was in the same league like Miles and you, but in his own way, but you were his “enabler”. I will learn from you for the rest of my life, but I won’t be long enough to ever learn, what you have to give to us. Thank you for your work and your life spirit and life love….
Hi Quincy!
I was born in 86, but during all my childhood, my sister would be playing Billie Jean, Thriller, Beat it, Bad.
For my great happiness!
For me “Saudade” is the term that describes Michael.
He had great “Saudade” of his childhood.
During some interviews i had watched of Michael, i could also get the idea that Michael had “Saudade” of being an anonymous.
It was too much for one single person.
I have already “Saudade” of Michael.I am deeply sad.
Thanks Quincy for producing together with Michael, some of the more happy and danceable songs ever.
Dear Quincey,
Losing a great entertainer like Michael is a big loss to everyone that loved his music and how he tried to make life better for everyone. I was born in 1961, growing up in some turbulent times in America. When Michael and his brothers came on the scene it was like you could take your mind off of the bad times and focus on something good. It encouraged our youth and made the struggle more bearable and started to create through music what could not be done through politics, a cultural exchange that over the years has continued to bloom. I wish you God’s comfort and peace and I believe that the bond the two of you shared was meant to be and will be always.
We love you Quincy,
Sincères condoléances.
Thank you for all you – and Michael Jackson, of course, amongst others – have bring to the world: Music, Proud to be Black and Proud to be Human.
Peace

Please release 200 pieces of unpublished music that saint Michael jackson composed.
it satisfy ground earth by heaven sound “Michael+Quincy” same as a musical piece of God.
Quincy,
I know this will probably never reach you, however I read a very moving statement from you today. “If you start thinking about darkness instead of light, or fear instead of love, you’ll get in trouble. I have had somewhat of a troubled life myself. I am a single 49 year old woman, I have also, like MICHAEL, was torn up by my father with words and with physical abuse. I, like MICHAEL, have never gotten over it. My fathers favorite saying was “You would “F” up a free meal.” It still to this day hear that ringing in my ears when I spill a drink, break something, ETC. I was raised in Michigan, not far from MOTOWN. Michael, Diana Ross, Stevie Wonder, and all of the Motown singers song writers and musicians really touched me. It really help me through my childhood and I always wanted to grow up and marry MICHAEL JACKSON. That was something I could have never said to any of my family members because I am white and MICHAEL was not. I could have care less if he were green!! His eyes, I felt told the whole story, it was as if I could see the pain within him at times and some joy, but mostly a lost soul. My sisters always told me I was stupid, crazy, dumb, because I would always say he seemed sad to me and I was going to make him happy when we married. I have prayed for MICHAEL for at least 40 years. I remember it well I was 9 years old. It still makes me smile thinking about it. It seems like yesterday, but that was one of my best memories of my childhood, MICHAEL JACKSON and I were to be married there was no doubt in my mind!!!! Unfortunely, Quincy, I really hope you get to read this!! Thank you MICHAEL for all my GOOD memories!!!!
May the Jackson family and all of those close to Michael have only the good memories!! God Bless you all!!
And Quincy thanks so much for the MUSIC!!
Sincerely,
Judy

“THE DUDE” from Holland
The statement that you’ve made here is beautiful, Mr. Quincy Jones. The music you made with Michael on Off the Wall, Thriller, and Bad was beautiful and will undoubtabley be passed about to many future generations.
With that said, I must also express this: I am a bit beside myself with some of the things you’ve said about Michael Jackson in recent interviews.
This is not the time for your blunt candor, Michael would’ve never, ever said anything so negative about you–especially in death–God forbid.
You, of all people, know how much Michael Jackson means to so many around the world. To be so insensitive, and drudge things up from the past that have left you sour, is shameless.
I love you and your career, you’re a legend in your own right; so it just does not make sense to me that you would bring up money at a time like this. Your revenue from ‘Thriller’ alone probably sqaushes my lifetime earnings. Forget what he paid other people for other things–he loved you, man. I’ve seen pictures of his blotchy skin and I’ve heard him proclaim “I’m a black American” on more than one occasion. That’s enough for me, and I never knew him–what is your excuse?
Statements are all fine and good, but if the statement doesn’t match the sentiment–that’s for you and God to deal with.
Quincy,
You are a innovator and a defamer. Couldn’t you at least waited until Michael was buried before slandering like you did in Details mag claiming he was anti-black. Which reminds me, how many White women have you dated???? I lost count.
I just want to say thank you for the time you spent with Michael and the magic created, which touched the hearts and excited the souls of so many….
my condolences….
peace, blessings love and light,
May He Rest In Peace.
Juanita
Thank you Quincy for a lifetime of music. You were instrumental in catapulting Michael Jackson (God’s Gift) to the entire world.
FOR MICHAEL…
On the last Thursday in June we lost our beloved Michael
On the last Thursday in June we lost you – we lost you way too soon
On the Last Thursday in June.
We were left wondering WHY did this happen? Why are you gone? Gone too soon…
On the Last Thursday in June
We mourned, we cried, we sat in disbelief
On the last Thursday in June
We realized there’s no more hat, no more moonwalk, no more glitter glove
On the last Thursday in June
We look to the Heavens; we look to the good Lord above
On the Last Thursday in June
The World agrees you were taken, taken- way too soon
On the Last Thursday in June
We say this to you; you’re in a much better place,
No more worries, no more pain, no more ridicule, no more sadness upon your Face.
On the Last Thursday in June
You were taken, taken too soon
Now he’s gone, gone too soon.
On the Last Thursday in June
You were a beautiful gift, a one-time deal; no other can fill your shoes…
On the last Thursday in June
We sat and watched your image being plastered all over the news
On the last Thursday in June
We fell to our knees – we screamed, we cried
On the Last Thursday in June
We cried because you our beloved Michael had suddenly died
On the last Thursday in June.
We love you, we will remember your spirit and your legacy will forever remain steadfast and true
We are sad, and we are blue, because we lost the King of Pop, we lost YOU… Lost YOU on the
The last Thursday in June…You were taken, taken away from us- taken way too soon, On the last Thursday in June…
Paris, Le 7 juillet 2009
Cher monsieur Jones,
I immediately had a though for you when I heard the incredible news.
God bless you for the words of wisdom you said when Mickael had difficult times. You asked then to pray for him.
Today, we pray for him and we pray for you.
God bless you and keep you in peace in this day of ceremony and for those who will follow.
Avec mes sincères condoléances et toute ma compassion,
Marianne (from France)
It is truly sad to read of the comments made about michael jackson in your recent interview. I cannot believe how we as African American put oneanother down and especially after his death. You state that he was like your brother but yet you state such hurtful comments! No one has judged you for marrying four white women so why cut him down because of the changing of the color skin. I am truly shocked and disgusted at your behavior!
I am deeply and terribly sorry for you about the deep lost of your son. I hope the faith in people such as Mister Michael Jackson that you had and still have will remain forever. I wish you the best and all my prayers go to your family and friends even if your sadness is so deep that the tears are still inside because your son is alive whatever happens. (A french woman may be insignificent in the world but a truly admirer of your style and music. All the best.
P.S : i can only imagine the sadness of the moment.
THE GIFT
Once in a lifetime a rare gift is given. Our gift was instilled with greatness, able to spread God’s message through song… It was Michael. He was THE GIFT…
Sent to guide us, appeal to our inner soul- the one who was able to give us a much-needed LIFT…
Look deep into his eyes, filled with Truth not lies…
Listen to him speak, he is prophetic. God sent him to give the world a message.
He appealed to us all through that beautiful soft-spoken voice
It’s simple- there’s really no other choice.
He said be there for the Children- make them feel Loved
How? By showing outward expressions of love, blanket them with a Hug and a Kiss
For that’s what our Children really need, that’s what they really miss…
He taught us the most important things in Life are invisible- can’t you See?
Listen to him, hear his words – we are the ones to make a difference, it up to you and me.
God gave us THE GIFT for 50 years.
We are the privileged- we had THE GIFT- So dry your tears.
His legacy will endure; he will remain a treasured gift, loving and pure.
We need to make other’s see; love one another that’s the world’s cure.
Long Live the King of Pop
He shall forever remain on Top!
We are grateful to God, he had a Plan…
Make others see, it’s up to you. Be his greatest FAN!
For he was THE GIFT, a wonderful and caring Man.
THE GIFT was sent to spread God’s message through song.
Believe the truth, he was of love, he did nothing wrong.
THE GIFT was sent to break down the barrier.
THE GIFT was God’s vessel, his Carrier.
The enemy worked hard to destroy THE GIFT.
Listen, and end this terrible RIFT.
Quincy, the Bible says to forgive 77 times 7. In other words, infinite forgiveness…
Dear Quincy,
My heart goes out to you and the Jackson family. When I heard of Michael’s passing I felt like a huge whole had been opened up and my heart was thrown into it. There will never be another Michael Jackson. He was the most gifted human, entertainer and soul to ever walk this earth.
Thank you for all you did to help bring this beautiful soul of Michael Jackson to the world.
God bless Michael and you
Bill
Quincy,
How are you be such a hypocrite? You did an interview with Details magazine just going off about Michael not wanting to be Black. Shame on you for throwing stones. Why is it when this man, his doctors who have treated him and even the Santa Barbara police who humiliated him and inspected his body say he did in fact have Vitiligo , and was mottled all over his body can’t you as his alleged “brother” believe him. I am so ashamed of you. You talk about the children the man has….look at the women you chose to have children with. Stop throwing stones Quincy. And since I work at the publisher that owns Deatils magazine I know this interview was authentic. Michael , you gentle sweet kind soul I miss you and I love you. I can see you were surrounding by hypocrites calling themselves friends
Mr Jones,
Ever since I learned you produced for Michael Jackson I started looking for you name in movie and film credits.
Mr. Jones,I don’t think anyone can even imagine what you are going through…The fusing of your soul with Michael through the music is unbreakable.
I would like to know the story, inspiration and emotions behind each song on the Thriller Album..,that bass line in ‘Billy Jean’, The intro melody of ‘Human Nature’…wow!
Mr. Jones you have inspired us all, and Michael helped to bring you to us. We support you in your time of grief.

Dear Quincy Jones
Since 1985, when i stumbled into my first Miles Davis Concert here in Switzerland Montreux, my life has changed forever and I have started to improvise and playing music. You are like Miles, the representant of almost a whole century of musical development. Only a few people are able to realise the massiv impact you had and still have on the devolepment of contemporary music in the last century, today and tomorrow. As Miles, you have changed the minds and hearts AND the MUSIC on this planet FOREVER !!! Michael Jackson would be quite unknown, if he hadn’t the chance and the incredible luck to work with you. You made his massiv career possible in the first place. I am just learning to master my mixes, and I just have to listen to “Off The Wall” to hear, what a genious like you with incredible skills, talent and experience, can do when writing, mastering and recording music. You set the standard for qualitiy for all times. How did you create that incredible sound and those incredible rhythms on “Off the Wall”? I have the highest respect and admiration for you and your work and I just have started a trip to explore your work. (So I have something to do till the end of my days…)
You, Miles and of course Michael in his own way: you are the monuments of music history. You dear Quincy will be known in the next centuries, like we know Bach and Mozart today…
All the best from Switzerland…
Mr. Jones:
I am disgusted with what you have said about Michael Jackson not having vitiligo. I am flabergasted by your comments. You are absolutely wrong. There are pictures that show it. There are so many who saw it. There are doctors that had to treat it. I am appalled by you.
Sonia
Dear Mr.
As you know, a few weeks ago, Michael Jackson died. His life was fully dedicated to save and protect children’s life, their innocence, the life on earth. Also he fights for breaking peace on each corner of our planet. He was a no tired speaker about the real problems of our lifetime and our small world. Above his music, which put together generations, religious and unreligious persons, gay or heterosexual, intellectual or nonintellectual individuals, rich or pure, his life was share and give all the love what it is inside of everyone.
In my life I was obsessed buy the next idea: BAD IS BECAME MUCH MORE POWERFULL IF THE GOOD PEOPLE ARE NOT DOING NOTHING.
Everyone and each of us, from your generation to my generation, from your children to my children’s feeling and share MICHAEL JACKSON like one of his family and we are billions.
I ask you to enjoy with us in our intention to propose him, again, for the NOBEL PRIZE FOR PEACE.
Even, if the award, it is not posthumously given, we have two exceptions of it: Dag Hommarskjold and Erik Axel Karlfeldt. Sow for such an extraordinary figure like MICHALE JACKSON we can cut the rules one more time.
Please, from the bottom of my heart we need your support, without your personal figure, this enormous, sincerely and deserved project can not go out.
Present all my respects to all of you who will help me just remember:
BAD IS BECAME MUCH MORE POWERFULL IF THE GOOD PEOPLE ARE NOT DOING NOTHING.
For this to come real send me a letter with your agreement to the next email address: tadaju@gmail.com or contact me to the next phone number: 0034/670348784.
All my deepest thank you

Q you were so ins trumental in Mike career and in mine you are also a gentle giant. thank you Quick Tillis

Hi Mr. Jones –
I love the music that you and Michael made together. I love Michael the person, so much as I can know of him from afar…he seems gentle and loving, a performer and a humanitarian.
What I cannot understand is how not one of his many powerful and wealthy friends was able to assist him with his druh addiction. How he could’ve been let go in Bahrein for all of those years, wihtout someone trying to contact him and bring him back.
Seems like his friends only loved him when he was on top.
Dear Mr. Jones,
I couldn’t believe Michael had died when my daughter called and told me. I kept hoping they would revive him bit it never happened. The world truly lost a great one his music will gone on forever. There will truly never be another one to replace Michael. I have tired to collect all of the magazines and newspaper that have been printed. I know that the Jackson’s are very private but I also that their mother is a Jehovah’s Witness. I also am one. I was wondering if there would be a way that I could write her a letter of condelance.I am hoping that you will be able to convey the message to her. I have tried every avenue on the internet without success. I will apprectiate it very much. Once again the world has lost a great one. Here is my e-mail address Melba Rios papparatzi1@yahoo.com
I read your interview with details magazine. I do agree that he should have been more true to himself. What I mean by that is he should kept the same look as he had on the thriller album. My god to a 12 year girl who had a major crush on him he was the best looking man I had ever seen back then. It pained me to see him change so much over the years. I do understand that he had the skin disorder. In fact cnn did an interview with a man who has the same disorder. I do think he could have handled that disorder differently but the past cannot be changed. What is left is the music which should be treasured and appreciated always. Again I say we all owe you so much for helping to create a masterpiece..Peace and love to you and yours and don’t stop making the magic that turns into a great song..
Mr.Jones- Quincy,
I feel absolutely awful for you. It is quite apparent to me that you have been able to reach Michael & collobrate with Michael in a very, very special way. So special that the time with him must have been not only timeless, also incredibly enlivening & colorful (as you’ve described). I so enjoyed listening to your speaking of Michael on Bad; sighting his autobiographical approach which requires great strength in character & mention of his wonderful imagination. One of my favorite traits of Michael is his wonderful sense of ryhthm. Uhh, his natural sense of just when to syncopate just blows me away.
thank you so much for always being there for Michael,

Quincy (hope you don’t mind that I call you by your 1rst name) Excuse me if I speak of him in the present tense; I just am not convinced he’s gone, though didn’t think he’d live for long following a long duration of cruelty by people. Maybe it’s just my wishful thinking.
He gave & gave & gave. His love & compassion for children & world unity. I am just devasted. I would ache for him back then, tried to reach out to him but by then he became too isolated & lost most trust in people.
May Michael’s true integrity be honored as his spirit is enlightened.
And may Michael always be a source of strenth for you. Michael IS love – - -

Dear Quincy,
I don’t know what it is like working with someone for so long of a time and have gotten to know, him, “Michael” as a friend, as an artist, as a talented dancer and creator of all art forms. I’ve had many acquaintences, associates, good buddies and even a business partner that I’ve knows for many years since he was first working with CBS-TV for Dan Rather as his Lighting Director and many more talented artists over his span of many years. It is like loosing a major part of you. When I lost my mom from this life it was like the life source of seeing her was taken back by me literally and physically I was drawn back by seeing her presence in a cascet. Please be Strong “Quincy” this like all things with time will pass over, and they say that time heals all things. Wounds, Hurts and Pains. The Jackson Family must still be grieving and the children must be hurting deeply. But, God says with his conforting words “That HE will never LEAVE US nor FORESAKEN US.” Even thaugh all else will fail us. The armer of flesh, family, friends and maybe even our closest of all acquaintences. Jesus will stand by us closer than a BROTHER and closer then a FRIEND.

Hello Dear Quincy,
God has blessed you with a talent and you have used it wisely to reach out to the world. My dream to see Michael Jackson face to face was broken on june 25/2009 but my hope was raised again when I read the posted words of condoleance from you on Larry King show.To know who has worked with Michael Jackson and made his music/dance/talents became what we all know and don’t want to miss nor loose in this world was a blessing.I believe that you will do something special to make your legacy in Michael Jackson’s artist life to go on even beyond where it had reached.
May God continue to bless you with new young Artist to work with.
Sincerely,
Elyvanie Mukangoga.
Dear Quincy
Certain things are meant to be ; You and Michael were a match made in Heaven.
Thank you so much for creating/ producing those wonderful songs and fantastic music together. Still can’t believe he’s no longer with us (though from the music he’s here to stay). Michael always seemed to be such a gentle soul. May he rest in peace. God Bless.
A fan of Michael.
Quincy,
My heart goes out to you. I am so very sorry for your loss. We all miss him deeply as well.
I am an entertainment journalist and am doing a tribute project in honor of Michael that I thought you may want to know about. I would love for you to be a part of it. It is completely not-for-profit. It is with the utmost respect and truly from my heart that I am doing this for Michael and to get the truth out there.

Mr. Quincy Jones,
Thank you so much for the beautiful noise that kept me striving for my dreams and the moments of escapism I have experienced. You and Michael Jackson’s creations together will live forever… as Michael Jackson has said, “You want what you create to live, and I give my all in my work because I want it to live.” You and him are like magic. You inspire me so much. I am so blessed and so thankful of my God that he creates great things and I am here to witness it. I look to you and great music artist like Michael Jackson to keep me going for my dreams. I am only 15 but I am going into music and dance and I pray that God will help me to become a great musician and inspire other people. I want to meet you and all of the other living legends becuase music is something I have deep passionate feelings for… im not worried about fame I just want to do something I love and make people find the comfort and inspiration I feel. -Aarika Ransom future musician.
I miss Michael Jackson so much and its because how much he inspired me… and everyday I meet and research and work with people who are musically inclined and share passion for creating magic and putting people through phases of wonderment. I shed tears… because I think not about how fierce he moved but his gentle kind and clever side. He is amazing and I am so glad to have seen him and embraced his great work. I can only imagine that if Michael Jackson were humble and was constantly misunderstood… Then what was Jesus like… I am very happy and passionate about music and throughout my life i want to inspire people and create the ear candy of tomorrow and for right now. But also when I die i can only imagine what it will be like to meet my creator and the one who can make things flawless. I have many things I want to accomplish… so many things. But im only 15.
Thank you, Quincy.
Happy 51st B-Day Michael!!!!!!!!!!!!, you are the greatest entertainer worldwide, your music will forever be in our heart. My favorite quote from Micheal is;
“If you want to make the world a better place, take a look at yourself and make a change”
Much love, R.I.P Michael
Daphnee
Dearest Mr Jones, With all my heart, I reach out to you and every member of Michael’s family missing & grieving his earthly presence. I pray that Michaels children will not continue to suffer at the hands of the hungry media machine, but find inner strength in their journey back to PEACE and into adulthood. Their path is by no means easy and is likely to be filled with many challenges that most of us would not wise to experience.I also hope that you and the Jackson family feel the support, LOVE, UNITY and FRIENDSHIP, of every life Michael and you continue to GIVE HAPPINESS to through the sharing of your GIFTs & TALENTS for MUSIC. The SHARED VISION & COMMITMENT that in inadvertently opened the door in the Struggle for Racial Equality in Broadcasting, is a legacy that should not be forgotten. It is hard to imagine the world of music without “Thriller” & “BAD”. I remember sitting in the hills of Kashmir and at the gateways of Tibet listening to the albums.I had actually bought them in the local markets. I remember being astonished that I could share my enthusiasm for the albums with locals as we danced to sang the lyrics. Michaels music was being sold as a bootleg. It is MY DREAM is to see Michaels life long contribution celebrated in a unique way, ideally using dates of the original O2 Arena to support his VISION for WORLD PEACE & UNITY on behalf of the CHILDREN of our deeply trouble world. OXO
Mr. Jones,
I made this poem for Michael … It’s called: Where are you Michael?
Michael …
I’ve been looking for you …
Where are you?
They said you are in your music …
Well, I tried and I could feel …
But where are you?
I can not play …
I can not see …
Their songs do not have enough
Where are you?
I’ve been looking for you …
I felt you the smile of a child …
I felt you in the gray morning …
I felt you in the beautiful landscape view from the window …
But I can not play …
I can not see …
Their songs do not suffice
Where are you?
I’m losing you …
That drives me to despair …
I miss you when your song ends …
I despair …
I do not have to hear his music all the time …
(I wish I could …)
I’m going looking for you …
Where are you?
Sometimes I can not feel you in the world …
I have to force myself …
Because I have seen divine things in this world …
I have been struggling …
I think of everything you’ve said …
But still I’m losing you
When the song ends I miss you …
I’ve been looking for you …
Where are you?
I can not play …
I can not see …
Maybe if I had the smell around …
Perhaps one could hold the one you love so much …
Maybe if I walked where you walked …
Maybe if I could see with your eyes …
Maybe if I could wake up your morning …
Maybe if I could turn your pain in my pain …
So lighten up …
But … I’ve been looking for you …
Where are you?
I can not play …
I can not see …
It allowed us to see …
I do not know why …
I do not understand …
For now just tell me
What are you in your music …
Well, I tried and I could feel …
But where are you?
I can not play …
I can not see …
His songs do not have enough
Where are you?
I’m afraid you disappear …
I’m afraid you just stay in my heart …
I’m crying …
Where are you?
I can not play …
I can not see …
It allowed us to see …
I do not know why …
I do not understand …

Michael…
Isso me desespera…
Eu perco você quando sua musica acaba…
Eu me desespero…
Eu tenho me esforçado…
Eu estou chorando…
Onde está você?
Eu não posso tocar…
Eu não posso ver…
Não nos permitiram lhe ver…
Eu não sei por quê…
Eu não compreendo…

I love and will miss Michael always. Kenyatta Vaughn
Please Dad, take off my comment, it was a personal one to you. I did not know it would be promoted. Yatta P.S. I also spelled sue wrong.
I am a musician..I think Michael Jackson was a great artist, singer, but I didn’t know the man..I just liked his music and all the distractions going on around him seemed to distract me from his music..It got to the point were I didn’t listen to it anymore..His last album, I didn’t hear it when it came out, but I listened to his after his death, and it is so good..The bottom line he had serious chops, and even when he wasn’t on top of his game, he was still very good..Now that he is gone, I’ve rediscover his music..
Thank you Mr Quincy Jones for all these fantastic moments I’ve had listening to the music you brought to the world with Michael Jackson. I still can’t really take for real Mike’s death and I have to say that the words you had for him were absolutely moving. There’s a favour I would like to ask you. Many tributes have been dedicated to Mike. But I am sure we miss your sense of music and the beautiful complicity you had with Mike. I don’t know if that’s possible but would you make a tribute song for him using unreleased materials produced with you and Bruce Swedien.
Again, thank you for music and receive my deep condoleances for your “little brother’s” loss.
Eu só queria dizer que Michael, em toda a minha vida, encheu a minha cabeça de estrelas com sua música, seu canto e sua dança.
Paz e luz é o que ele merece.
Dear Quincy,
Due to the death of Michael and the fact that the”we are the world”-project is going to get 25 years old in 2010, I wonder if their could be something new: a new song, with old and new singers but again for the poor in Africa. The world has not changed – there are still a lot of people dying. I would say – you are the only one who could manage to make such a project real. Please think about it!
Regards, from Andrea (Austria)
I am devastated Michael is gone because I understand what has been lost. Not only Michael’s creative & musical talents but his beautiful gentle, loving nature. I know in this world full of people who would do anything for money & power that Michael Jackson was truly one of a kind. He will always be in my heart & prayers, I love him. God bless you Quincy. Claire from Donegal, Ireland.
Having now seen “This Is It” twice, the pain of MJ’s loss is even greater. He was such a true professional, a supremely talented performer and a gentle soul. I miss him now even more. May he dance in heaven.
Dear Quincy!
Michael’s and your music will live forever. The masterpieces you created inspires millions of people all over the world. God bless you.
Just wanted to say I hope you will do a tribute to him for the Grammys in 2010..it would be very special..I did not know him personally of course but I grieve for him especially after seeing this is it which is a beautiful piece of art and music..Glad you were able to see it too..I listen to the Thriller and Off the wall albums every few days..truly these are treasures worth more than gold..I think my favorite track is Human Nature from Thriller..and from off the wall I can’t help it..brilliant songs..but of course they all are but those have always meant the most to me over the years..
Love Michael Jackson now and always..
Take care Mr Jones bless you..
Hello Mr. Quincy Jones,
Maybe a little late, but also from my side my sincere deep concolences about the so very sad and tragic passing of Michael Jackson ..
At the time I discovered that Michael had been brought to the hospital,- June 25/26th (00.10 AM), I immediately thought: “Michael.. NO..not him! Not Michael…! Not him! Not yet! Don’t go…It’s too early for you to go…”
The first two months after his so tragic passing resulted for me in eight weeks full of sleepless nights or nights with only one hour or one hour and a half of sleep. It was touching me deeper then I’d ever expected. I never realized that Michael went secretly into my heart and had stolen it. I grew up with his music. (I’m 36..) ‘Bad’ was the first album I’d bought of Michael.
Those were days of trying to be happy during the day, but it turned always into crying in the nights. I simply couldn’t get any sleep…and I still had to go to work, the weeks of July. (sometimes very early mornings..) In August I was having holiday for three weeks, but all I wanted to do was staying at home, playing all Michael’s music and watching all his video’s on dvd’s! Hour after hour and day after day until the end of my holiday! After I’d sent a message to a UK fanclub because of having a very hard time at the end of July -it was the first website I found that I could trust and poured out my heart without being bullied or whatsoever- (and received a reply of them) it went little by little better, but until now I have lots of nights with actually too less sleep. At the age of seven(or eight) I was having disco-dancing lessons on the music from the Jacksons. Especially ‘Can You Feel It’ stays forever in my mind with the disco-moves…
Something special to me occured during another sleepless night…And I would like to share it with you..
I don’t know if you also believe a little in spirits from heaven or special things between heaven and the earth… but it really felt like it could be Michael’s spirit at that time that had paid me a visit..
It was August 13, 2009, and I was still awake after another sleepless, woken night at the time of my holiday. It happened at Dawn. After playing Michael’s video’s all night, at one moment it went too much for me. After I’d watched Michael’s video of ‘Give In To Me’ for maybe the twentieth time, I tried to think back and tried to imagine how it would be to see Michael perform live…with a big guilty and emotional feeling. Several times Michael had visited Holland to perform a lot of concerts, and I was never able to attend one of them. (Not enough money, no ticket, not allowed from my parents..) Lots of tears came and I really couldn’t stop crying… realizing Michael was gone and there will never be a new concert of him in the future..
Through my tears I tried to watch the video, and suddenly Michael’s spirit had shown up…
Maybe he had felt it straight away from the beginning, maybe Michael saw the state I was in, having a very hard time at that moment… but he started asking: “Hey….what’s up there? Why are you crying..? I want to know. Tell me. I want you to get a pen and paper and write it down for me..”
So I did. I got up from my couch, got a pen and paper, and as far I was able, I started writing…
But that wasn’t really me who was writing down ..It really felt like as if Michael took over my pen and guided it and whispered all the rhyming words
in my ear… (I felt also two very warm hands on my shoulders too…..)
This was the poem …
06:15 AM and I still can’t sleep
You’re in my heart and mind, just too deep
After another complete woken night
I am not okay, I am not allright
Tears run down my face
Don’t look at me now, I’m a total disgrace
Here I am, still awake and crying
And nobody knows my heart is dying
I can’t and I won’t forget you ever
Because you were still handsome intelligent and clever
Michael, I can’t and I won’t forget you
And I don’t even want to….!
Guilty, guilty, guilty
Those words go on and on in my head
They wouldn’t be, when you were just here instead
I am forever sorry and ashamed but nobody knows
That I’ve never been at one of your fantastic liveshows
I feel guilty of never being able to be there
I felt God left me without you in the middle of nowhere
Guilty of never visiting your concert
And it goes on and on forever in my head
Some people might say: Oh,whatever
But for me it’s a regret forever
How to come over this
It’s the worlds most famous Entertainer that I miss
Maybe you’re finally able to walk on the moon
But why, Michael? Why did you have to go so soon?
Michael never deserved to be treated this way…
May his soul finds the peace he was looking for all his life…
Thank you forever too, Quincy for producing three of Michael’s solo-albums that turned out to be very successful!!! All the prizes ever won with ‘Off The Wall’/ ‘Thriller’/ and ‘Bad’ were really, really fully deserved…! ) They became a huge part of my life….

I have a copy of the original Thriller lp record that shows only Quincy Jones as the producer. All other copies of this album that I’ve seen list Michael Jackson as well as co-producer. Does anyone have any info on this?
People judge the famous upon appearence and rumors rather then the talent they allow us to observe. People seem to think musicla artists are suppose to share their talent, they seem to forget that entertainment is a PRIVILAGE not a right.
I use to be one of these people. I didnt seem to acknowledge the fact that the famous are really just people with an amazing gift. Most famous people would rather be seen as a normal person not as a freak of nature!
When i first heard Michael Jackson was dead i was sooooo happy. But after his death my opinion quickly changed.
My mom started playing Michael’s music remembering the amazing musical artist she had forgotten was so gifted. The MJ song i ever heard was Billie Jean.I asked my mom what song she was listening to,she replied Billie Jean. By who i replied. Michael Jackson she told me. I didnt believe her, the sensational vocals, base, music and harmony i was hearing was too amazing to be “Rapest Michael Jackson”.
But it was and i was astonished when she proved it was him with a quick view of the Billie Jean music video.
After hearing that song i was a Michael Jackson fan,and i made sure no one knew it! But after selling ten cds to get the thriller album my secret was out! I didnt really care. When i went back to school i made suer EVERYONE KNEW I LOVED MICHAEL JACKSON, ans i got hell from my friends every day.One of my friends told me michael jackson was a horrible musical artsit,a horrible dancer, and a rapest. I told her it wasnt true, she insisted it was.So i convinced her to listen to some of his best songs and watch him dance on youtube….and she did. After several days she finally admitted she LOVED Michael Jackson. I got my whole group of friends into Michael!
Getting back to the beginning of my comment people judged Michael for the colthes he wore or the way his hair was the color of his skin his sexuallity and his joy for elementary things…..not for the person he was or the astonishing gift he had and that he shared with us,not by the people who knew him best, but by RUMORS. The bottom line is that no one knew Michael accept for the people who were closest to him.Michael Jackson is an ICON and no amount of HATERS will EVER change that!!!
Thank you to Joe Jackson Katheren Jackson Michael’s brothers Michael’s sisters Quincy Jones AND MOST OF ALL……….MICHAEL JACKSON!!!!!!!
For giving me inspiratino that any thing is possible and to follow your dreams and reatch for the stars….the sky is the limit and thats where im headed!!! Singing is my passion and i know i could have a coreer in music.
If i ever have a life in music l will POSITIVLE MAKE SURE I WILL TRIBUTE TO MICHAEL! I love singing his songs i cannot dance but i know i can sing (never compareing myself to Michael…NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER!!!)…..singing is my passion….my name will be konwn……..i do not care for fame i do not care for money i only care to follwo my dream my passion…..my life.

I thank you Quincy for all your hard work you put into making these albums. I am also interested in making one. I tried your contact info and it is not working.
This is a little text a wrote to Michael, Mr Jones:
In Your sadest days
In Your coldest years
And in Your most heartbreacking seconds
Think of me and I’ll think of You
Your are a Freind
Idol
Brother
And a Father Figure
For me
Teach my right and I’ll make your dream come true
Your heart is made out of gold
Honest and true just like a childs
That’s why people think you’re strange
I love you Michael
Please don’t shed a tear
Cause if you do
I will.
I love you MJ.

to sir Quincy Jones, until now im still hurt and devastated to accept the reality that the greatest and most talented of all generations has gone thats Michael Jackson..i created lots of poems and tributes to him..its one of my greatest dream is to see him perform live again in the Phils (this is it)..because i wasnt able to watched his first concert(History Tour)..im still very young then i have no money..but then i pursued a career which i believe will be able to reach out to him that’s in airline industry..but that will not happen anymore..im deeply hurt..if only Michael knew how much he inspires me..that he has been part of my dreams..and now my next plan that i promised to myself that i will really visit his tomb someday and read to him all the poems and stories i wrote about him..that is why im writing to sir Quincy because he has become the second father to Michael..that Sir Quincy will tell Michael that we love him so much! RIP Michael…
