Tonight Quincy will appear on the globally televised “Hope for Haiti Now” telethon. “Hope for Haiti Now” will air across ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox, CNN, BET, The CW, HBO, MTV, VH1, CMT, PBS, TNT, Showtime, Comedy Central, Bravo, E! Entertainment, National Geographic Channel, Oxygen, G4, CENTRIC, Current TV, Fuse, MLB Network, EPIX, Palladia, SoapNet, Style, Discovery Health, Planet Green, CNN en Español, HBO Latino and Canadian networks, including CBC Television, CTV, Global Television and MuchMusic.     Dear Quincy,

    I heard you may replace Michael’s voice for Justin Timberlake on the new version of “We are the World”. Please….. do not do this!!! Please let Michael remain on the song as he has always. JT is fine to sing another part but replacing MJ is sacrilege. Besides, MJ was a co-writer of this song. Plus Michael had so much love for others and was always willing to help others in their time of need. Please let him have the opportunity to help once more.

    Dear Mr. Jones,

    I was delighted to hear that a remake of “We are the World” is in the process of being recorded to benefit Haiti…however, I was disappointed to hear that Michaels voice will not be included. Why??? Please include Michael on this new song. I couldn’t listen to it without thinking of him. I think it would be a big mistake to exclude his voice. The song wouldn’t have the same impact. I know that it wouldn’t.

    I anxiously await for opening day of the 2010 Winter Olympis to see the new “We are the world”! I heard that none of the original singers will be in this edition. I can’t even imagine this new song without them. But I’m sure it will be a masterpiece!

    Glad you are raising money to help Haiti but to rerecord We are the World with out Michael Jackson’s voice is unthinkable. Michael should be left on the new recording and have Janet Jackson sing Diana Ross’s part so they can be together. Please don’t ruin it by taking Michael out.
