It gives me great pleasure to announce the representation of my longtime and dear friend Mervyn Warren.

Mervyn is a Five-time Grammy-Award winning film & TV composer, record producer, arranger, songwriter/lyricist, pianist, and incredible vocalist. I’ve worked with Merv on numerous projects and countless collaborations, and it gives me sincere joy to finally be officially working together.

Five-time Grammy Award winner and 10-time nominee Mervyn Warren is a highly accomplished film composer, record producer, songwriter/lyricist, arranger, pianist, and vocalist. Equally adept at various styles, his work spans the genres of pop, R&B, jazz, orchestral, classical, vocal, country, and gospel. One of the industry’s most sought-after record producers, his clients include Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson, Boyz II Men, Barbra Streisand, Celine Dion, Chicago, Queen Latifah, and Rascal Flatts.

Warren has composed the scores for various feature films, including the hit A Walk To Remember starring Mandy Moore. He produced and arranged the soundtrack to the film The Preacher’s Wife and wrote both underscore and songs for the #1 film The Wedding Planner, starring Jennifer Lopez and Matthew McConaughey.

Warren was an original member of Take 6, the a-cappella sextet that took the world by storm in 1988. He recorded two albums with them (one platinum; one gold) and produced, co-wrote, and arranged most of their award-winning songs. With them he won four Grammy Awards, six Dove Awards, two Stellar Awards, and a Soul Train Award. On his own, Merv earned another Grammy Award for the all-star Handel’s Messiah: A Soulful celebration, five additional Grammy nominations, a Dove Award (of two nominations), and two Gospel Music Workshop of America Awards, including one for Contemporary Producer of the Year.

Warren co-produced with Babyface the Billboard #1 R&B hit “Last Night” by Az Yet; produced the Billboard Top 10 hit “I Believe In You & Me” (movie version) by Whitney Houston, from the Grammy-nominated, multi-platinum soundtrack to The Preacher’s Wife; and penned the Billboard #2 Dance hit “The Power of One” for Donna Summer.

Warren has written many arrangements for his mentors Quincy Jones and David Foster and for the late, legendary Arif Mardin, including extensive work on Quincy’s “Back on the Block” and “Q’s Jook Joint,” and various Foster-produced recordings with Brandy, Leann Rimes, Michael Bublé, and others.

Warren recently co-produced with Quincy Jones the remake of “We Are The World”; produced and arranged two tracks for Quincy’s Soul Bossa Nostra; and also co-produced “This Is It,” the posthumous Michael Jackson single. Merv also produced/arranged performances for the 2009 and 2010 Super Bowl telecasts and composed the orchestral score for the highly acclaimed ABC film A Raisin in the Sun for producers Craig Zadan, Neil Meron, and Sean Combs.

Warren recently completed both underscore and songs for the musical film Joyful Noise, starring Queen Latifah and Dolly Parton.
