As EP, chief collaborator, DJ, co-manager, and creative other half of GRAMMY® Award-nominated multi-platinum superstar, Doja Cat, since 2013, he has already built a catalog of mythic proportions. After piano lessons at age 11, the Santa Barbara native became obsessed with guitar and formed his first punk band, Slimer, during junior high. Signing to Cargo/Grilled Cheese Records (famous for Blink- 182) at 18, the group hit the road on Warped Tour 1999, sharing the stage with Eminem and Black Eyed Peas. Following Slimer’s breakup, Yeti continued to make music as a producer and opened his “Himalayas” studio inside Sam Spiegel’s Echo Park warehouse. He produced multiple tracks for underground hardcore hip-hop insurgents HO99O9 and contributed to three albums for award-winning reggae outfit, Rebelution, including a Grammy nomination for Falling Into Place. In 2013, he discovered Doja Cat and signed her to his production company. As Executive Producer, he oversaw her “Purrr!” EP [2014], major label debut “Amala” [2018], “Amala Deluxe” [2019] and gold-selling chart-topping blockbuster “Hot Pink” [2019], which bowed in the Top 10 of the Billboard Top 200. He personally co-wrote/co-produced the double-platinum “Juicy,” Doja’s first radio hit; her first viral TikTok hit, the gold “Candy”; and gold-certified singles “Go To Town”; “Tia Tamera” [feat. Rico Nasty]’ and “Cyber Sex”; as well as EP’d her first #1 hit “Say So.” He also shepherded her through high-profile deals and served as her DJ and friend on tour. In 2021 he is working on Doja Cat’s third album “Planet Her” as well as new music from BJ The Chicago Kid and more.
